The magic of the Festival of Trees wouldn’t be possible without the incredible help of our volunteers. Whether you have a few hours or a whole day, your time and energy can make a big difference in bringing this holiday tradition to life. From setting up twinkling lights to greeting guests with a warm smile, there’s a spot for everyone to get involved and spread some cheer. Ready to make the season brighter?   • 3-hour shifts

These two remarkable couples were part of the founding group that brought the Festival of Trees to Danville 30 years ago. Since then, their steadfast leadership and service have shaped this event in nearly every way imaginable.

You can find them fluffing trees, hanging garland, securing sponsors, proofreading press releases, and dancing the night away at the Gala. There is hardly a trash can they have not emptied, a cookie they have not baked, or a Festival memory from the past 30 years that they have not helped create.

Their commitment has never been limited to a title or a task. They have shown up wherever they were needed, year after year, with generosity, humility, and an unwavering belief in what the Festival of Trees means to this community.
