About the Festival of Trees
It’s for the kids.
Since 1997, Festival of Trees has been one of the area’s most anticipated holiday traditions, bringing our community together through festive displays, family activities, entertainment, and shared memories.
In 2021, Festival of Trees joined Balloons Over Vermilion under the leadership of It’s for the Kids. Together, these two signature events create meaningful experiences for families while supporting children throughout our community.
Guided by our motto, “It’s for the Kids,” our Board of Directors commits 100% of the net proceeds from Festival of Trees and Balloons Over Vermilion to local programs and organizations serving children through our Community Impact Awards.
Every ticket purchased, sponsorship secured, tree decorated, and volunteer hour given helps make that investment possible. When our community celebrates with us, our community’s children benefit.
